This means early in the process we carefully identify and define the most appropriate ecological materials that contribute to healthy, sustainable, energy efficient and innovative homes.
Construction
Our process combines the role of designer and construction manager to consolidate all administration and planning to enable a straightforward and efficient means of delivering projects well suited to homeowners and self-builders.
We aim to use re-claimed, low-carbon bio-based construction materials in all our projects and we are specialists in hempcrete construction.
Hempcrete
As a cultivated construction material hempcrete is principally used as insulation and thermal mass. It is carbon negative, extremely breathable and ideal for use on retro-fit, heritage projects and new-builds alike.
Hempcrete can be used to insulate floors, walls and roofs, it is an ideal material to use in conjunction with timber frame construction and can be installed as pre-cast blocks, cast in-situ or spray applied.
